The latest poll, "Would you take a 5 month old to DisneyWorld for a family trip?," had very mixed results.
50% of you suggested NO, if a trusted babysitter was available
30% of you suggested YES, we are a family
12% of you suggested MAYBE
We're still not 100% sure what to do yet, but think that in reality he could actually be easier than Sidnee on the trip. In addition, I neglected to mention that the family trip is 7 days long. I'm just not sure either Mike or I could stand to be away from him that long. Sidnee is 3 years old and we've never been away for more than 4 days with her. Thanks for the advice.

I can tell you that I would not be able to leave Logan that long!!!!! Plus, you also did not mention that it wouldn't be just you, Mike, Sidnee and "peanut". G-ma and G-pa will be there to help, so Mom and Dad can relax a little. I change my vote to Yes!
ReplyDeleteWe went last year for our honeymoon and there were lots and lots of babies there. In fact, it SEEMED the babies provided a break for alternating parents running crazy. It might make your trip quite a bit slower, but if you two each switch off with the bubber, Sid, and gparents, I think you'll all have a lot of fun. The only thing I would like to mention for you to think about is the heat/trip date. Might not want to go with little ones or "old ones" (sorry gparents) when it's August. Last year it was miserable during mid day in mid June. 'Course I think you could do shows then....
